recently, aizat and i were taken for a ride in a Scooby S203 owned by his friend. the first thing i noticed when i enter was a gigantic intercooler scoop on top of the hood. got my first ride on a nappa leather upholstery of this sport car while taking a look at a RECARO carbon fiber full bucket seat that was specially designed for this limited edition Subaru Impreza WRX STi.
i was stunned by the sound of its titanium piping and muffler by Trust Ti-COM when he revs up to 5000rpm. its almost sounds like a Carrera Turbo and it feels like taking another roller coaster ride like i had the day before... its dashboard meter are DEFI linked. sound system by ALPINE but all that matters is the sound of the turbo and its titanium combination plus a super cool HKS SSQV blow off valve... ciuuuu~
6-speed manual transmission connected to a Twin scroll turbocharged, Horizontally-Opposed (boxer), 2.0liter DOHC 16valve with AVCS powerplant producing a standard output of 320ps@6000rpm. short-lift clutch pedal had been modified by turbo tuner in Glenmarie to make a quick-shift even quicker.
the mechanic asks why does Impreza doesnt compete in a GT500 class... then he answered because 4-cylinder boxer engine has a peak of a 400bhp to be fully optimized. to compete in a GT500, boxer should be 6-cylinder.

astro A1GP MALAYSIA 06/07 : Proton Satria Neo A1 Special Edition

PROTON and A1 Team Malaysia unveiled the Proton Satria Neo A1 Team Malaysia Special Edition yesterday, a model that was developed with intention to go on sale next year. There are no prices and specifications yet, and the final model might differ from the one you see in this post.
I was not at the launch. From what I see so far, the model comes in a special A1 yellow, has some new non-bling bling design wheels, a big spoiler at the rear, yellow meter panels, leather sports seats with yellow stitching, a sporty MOMO steering wheel, A1 special edition mats as well as a special edition plague near the gear shift.
